frobtads software package provides Text mode interpreter for TADS version 2 and 3 game files, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install frobtads
frobtads is installed in your system.
Make ensure the frobtads package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep frobtads *
You will get with frobtads package name, version, architecture and description in a table
